This will be my final blog for my En-140 class and for that I am going to reflect over the last couple of months as to how my blog has grown. My blog started out very strong with my idea to use humor to caught the eye of the blog world. I decided to use funny stories that came with a video image that played along with the story. Later on in the semester I decided to grade my stories on a 1-10 scale never reaching a story boring enough to be called a one but having a couple 10 worthy stories. Also the adding of a moral came a bit later just to give the audience a sneak peek of what the story will entale. My blog took some time throughout the semester to put all my idea and stories down but finding funny fails for my blog was easy. My blog actually helped me become better at remembering by making me have to remember what stories I had heard as well as the funny experiences that had happen to me throughout the day. I only wish I would have more time to blog throughout the semester just because I have so many more stories to tell but eventhough this class is ending I may continue to blog. I really enjoyed the blogging world. This project really opened my eyes to a new world of expressions that is just a click away and for that I am extremely grateful. So to end my final wow post I want to say that I feel very connected to my blog it has allowed me to tell some great stories, remember some amazing memories, and allowed me to vent on those weeks I needed it the most. It has become an enjoying part of my week and I hope to continue blogging through the days to come.

The story goes like this….

I was casually walking back to my New Hall from Crisp when I notice up ahead of me a girl and guy talking. As I walked behind them I could read she was really into this guy and was trying to play it cool. However as we all know when we try to play cool we end up looking more like a fool in the end. So avoiding that thought they walked on the path on the right side of academic until they came upon the man-hole that everyone knows is a bit higher then the other pavement as well as super slick when wet or on flip-flops and it just so happened as this girl was playing it cool she wasn’t watching her step and fell right on her face in front of everyone. I chuckled and walked past thinking that a recover after that epic of  fall would take a miracle.

So since the girl was mindlessly zoned into impressing this boy I give her a pity score of only an epic rating of 4 out 10 but still I don’t believe you can recover your cool after a face plant.

The story goes like this….

I had been having the worst Sunday of my life as I was trying to write way to many papers and be up to date on the ready before school until I heard my fridge make a click noise and it stopped running. Having no idea what had happen I figured it would kick back on… fastward to an hour later…. I open the fridge to find standing water in the freezer section a sure sign it did not kick back on. The next part of the story took over about an hour of my life bt I missed with the back of the fridge, pulled it in a milion times into several differnt outlets and still when it was all said and done it still sat silently. So as a last resort I called my boyfriend Mark and he rushed over to help. On the way up to my room I filled him in on the status of the fridge in order to prepare him for some frustration however no sooner did he walk in the door did he pick up the plug put it into the powercord I had tried a thousand times to plug it into and the stupid fridge hummed to life. Needless to say I will never hear the end of how he magically fixed my fridge.

So since this story protrays myself having an epic fail like none other I will give it a 9 for hopeless inability to plug in a mini fridge.

On to the show…

So in my defense if the fridge had not been such an easy fix I would have needed some information on how to fix my fridge which leads me to this video that contains the ins and outs of fridge repair…ENJOY!

The story goes like this….

A couples days ago I came down with a bad case of the hiccps and nothing seemed to be working as I tried to get rid of them. So I decided as a last result to try to scare method and asked my boyfriend Mark to scare me, my mistake. He repeatedly tried to say boo and pop bags and such but nothing was working and every attempt he made me laugh and hiccup harder. Seeing this was not working I told him to forget it but at that very moment   scaring the hiccups out of me became the biggest challenge for him. So we casually leave his room and walk down the hall and he holds open the door for me nothing usual in sight until all of a sudden he slams the door in my face making me scream and fall down. I looked up a minute later to see him holding the door a good distance from where my face had been and he was rolling. He had physically scared the crap out of me and yet as I began to laugh a hiccup popped up first.

  This story shows how when a challenge is present nothing can stop a boy and yet since he did literally scare me and I still had the hiccups I give this story a 4 out of 10 for not beginning as epic as it was funny.

The story goes like this ……

It was the first week of class and I had the best schudule ever. My mwf classes didn’t start until 12:30 which was amazing for me since I am a night owl. However on this wednesday I had been done in the basement doing landry and studying for anatomy. Since everyone else on campus was in class or at lunch I had the whole basement to myself or so I thought at I roamed down in my pjs after just rolling out of bed. However on this one day I open the basement door to find three movers moving in the new basement funiture. I was excited to finally have somewhere to seat besides the rollie chairs but still felt weird being in my pjs with people all about. So I quickly rushed place and found a spot to begin my studies. However no sooner did I put down my stuff did a boy come sit across from me. He asked me what I was studying and I asked pleasently. We began to chat and befor long he gave me his number. At first I found it funny I got hit on in such a messy state but it wasn’t till I saw him walk out with the other movers did I realize I just got hit on by a guy working for the school.

So this story doesn’t have a huge epic fail but the fact I didn’t realize he was a mover sooner and the fact he was hitting on me while he was at work evens out to a soild 6.

Now on to the show….

  So as I was wondering on youtube searching for a video to go along with this story I came upon this video… and well it’s nothing like what happened that day but it she really random so enjoy!

The story goes like this….

 Yesterday in my oral expressions course we were listening to another long winded lecture about communicating. Mrs. Miller means well but since her tests are vocab only her lectures are pointless to listen too. So as the class progressed I was making list for what needed to be done after class when all of a sudden the guy need to me who had fallen asleep was called on. He jumped awake so fast the pen it had in his hand flew out the window. So thinking he would get it later or forget about it he asked her to repeat the question but the teacher instead said don’t you want to get your pen. After some odd looks were exchanged the boy got up walked outside and began looking for his pen. Mrs. Miller continued on with class but once he returned with pen in hand everyone laughed and the teacher said good you found your pen. She then throughout the rest of the class used the flying pen and the boy as prime example through out every part of her lecture.

  This story is a true epic fail from begining to end but the fact the boy went outside while everyone was watching him , found his flying pen , and returned to class gives this story an epic fail rating of 9 out of 10.

So as I was wondering around you tube I came upon a sweet video of a pen truely flying. So watch and be amazed my the real flying pen!

 The overall theme of my blog is simple to entertain an audience through my funny stories.

The story goes like this…..

    Yesterday I decided to wear these cute new flip flops I had just gonna from Target. This were no ordinary sandels they were the top sandel in style and they mine. So I planned out the cutest outfit and set out that morning wearing my new shoes however no more then 2 feet into my journay across campus do I realize I keep sliding out of my shoes. I take three steps they flop off my foot this horrible and painfully walk made me late for my 10 mins late for my class as well gave me open sores between and on top on my foot. Needless to say after all I booked it back to my room and removed the hellish footwear promising myself to never wear them again.

   This story shows just how painful fashion can be and do to the fact I was late for class, almost fell seven times, and causes pyshical pain to my feet I give myself a 7 for the failure of not pre-wearing the shoes before school.

Now on to the show…..

  So I discovered on you tube that one women actually was recorded having a epic fail with her painful shoes. So enjoy a recap of how I felt after walking in my shoes.

      I have one question for you…. Don’t be afarid it’s not personal or embaressing but have you ever realized how SMALL the world around us really is. I mean you know people are connected sure but when it seems as though everyone is inner connected in a weird web of life  well that’s when it becomes a wow moment anf for me this occur just yesterday. The morel of this story is simple rather then love thy nieghbor it’s LOVE THY STRANGER.. yes I am always this corny… :}

The story goes like this….

I am currently in an oral expressions class and last thursday I was late to class so I stayed after to see what we had missed in thee first half of class. While I was looking at my test that we had gotten back I overheard a boy in my class telling the teacher about this break up with a girl in the same class but I thought nothing of it and was on my way out. I then went to the library to find an article for the assignment we were just assigned and as I was searching the alise who elese do I see on the other side but this same heart broken boy from my class. He notices me and beings to talk to me so I walk over and talk to him and as I continue to talk he begins to flirt and flirt and ends up giving me his number by the end of my venture. The next day begining saturday he invites me to eat with him and some friends then go to the humane society however the friends didn’t show leaving us alone which was awkward but ok since he knew I had a boyfriend and I repeatedly told him this. Anyway the afternoon was fun but the real drama began on sunday evening when this girl caitlin from my oral class asked me what homework we had from thursday. Totally abilious to life I tell her then she says she missed cause she was having a bad day that day. Again being the nice person I am i began listening to her vent about her break with her boyfriend who was in our oral expressions class and then it hit me I was in the middle of a break up triangle. So I thought to myself this must be happening for a reason I wouldn’t just meet these two the same weekend for no reason so I decide to listen to both sides and try to see if they could possible get back together with my help however when it came down to the end Delton decided he didn’t want to compermise and was set with ending it. So I gave caitlyn my best advice and ended my weekend feeling confused.

So this story is not really funny for me more of a epic fail but I think from my lack of brains to not put two and two together sooner I give my story a 2 out 0f 10 for it’s lack of humor to go along with my lack of brains.

So this post is going to test the limits of the wow slogen since this story has to do with an epic fail like none other so far that being the musical Carosual. The morel of this story is for your health and sanity please even see this story.

The Night Goes Like This…..

Mark, Joe, Alyssa, and I and going to see the musical Carosual at the River Campus all of us had different reasons for attending but I was just going in hopes of seeing a great musical…Was I Wrong…. First we get their 10 minutes late which I think won’t be that big of a deal since a show never starts at the time its says however this show did actually I believe it started early so we were extra late. Then we make are way to the doors and are stopped and said we can’t go in until there is a break in show. Quite a bit of time passes and then finally they sneek us into the back of theater and scold us for not being on time to the performance. We blow it offf and find are seats and begin watching the most pointless play ever but besides that we had the rudest usher ever behind us leaning over are shoulders trying to tell other people to turn off their phones while the play was going on….The icing on the cake came at intermission when I took a picture of Mark and Joe in their seats the complete opposite way of the stage and I get in trouble for having my camera out and then get in trouble for having my feet on the back of the chair in front of me and then again for having my phone out. Keep in mind this is all during intermission by this time I am so ticked off that I want to leave but I can’t because the rest of the group has to stay for papers or projects they have to do on the show. So I sit through another hour of slow theatical hell and run out the door once the show is over.

Besides the show being epicly horrible I believe this story shows at true 10 out of 10 for just beinging a terrible experience as a whole.
